Join us at MOMA for Frida & Diego: The Last Dream, featuring the work of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
Together, we’ll reflect on themes of identity, vulnerability, origins, and Kahlo’s Jewish connection—including the ways her story might resonate with our own.
Afterward, we’ll gather for a rooftop Cinco de Mayo-inspired Happy Hour to continue the conversation over Rabbi-crafted margaritas and other tequila cocktails, guacamole, and good company.

Basque Country unfolds along a picturesque landscape hugging the French-Spanish border just west of the Pyrennes with a stunning Atlantic coastline. It distinguishes itself through its language, history, food, wine, villages, and art.
While some trace Jewish presence in Spain to as far back as the Bible itself, in the Basque region our stories mostly begin with the expulsions of 1492 when Jews fled Spain and Portugal to the northern part of the country and to France. There are echoes of our presence everywhere.

Of all the Scandinavian countries, Norway is considered the most sustainable in the world, bringing to life a vision of the future lived in deep alignment with our planet and its natural resources. Shaping every facet of society from urban planning to electric planes, from zero-emission fjord cruisers to “plogging” and “panting” (community-based, incentivised recycling programs), from slow green fashion to waste-avoiding food sharing apps, Norway is a setting of breathtaking landscapes and breath-inducing, eco-certified living; a setting envisioned by timeless Jewish sensibilities and conjured by Jewish prophets, ancient and contemporary.
